I'm sure the player in the background is jumping up and down celebrating a goal?

Thorniley?

Just had that feeling watching it in real time that he could have tapped it in. Might be harsh but stand by my initial reaction

Wasn't lees hand ball it was lees who headed it against Ayala's hand

Looking at the replays, yes I think you’re right At the end of the day, I suppose you could say, we were just a goal line scramble away from taking a point off one of the division’s better sides

Looked like lees was too busy appealing for/celebrating the goal rather than just whacking it in?

That’s my view too. It presented itself had he been quicker to react.

Not that we deserved it.

I'd have shoved the man in and the bloody ball in.

I thought from the other angle, and still do from here, that Lees was just about to celebrate the goal.

Didn't know scrums were allowed in football.  Indirect freekick but no chance so late on.  Very unlucky for it not to creep over the line though.

Fair play to the Middlesbrough player who sort of lies down and puts his head into his teammates back. I can sort of understand what he's doing but can't explain it.

Adam Clayton pretending to prevent a bulldozing try...

There’s just so much wrong with that it was unbelievable

1. Shove on Lees

2. Hand ball

3. Traps ball between his legs

4. Every f**ker just jumps on top of the ball which is clear obstruction

Result? Free kick to Middlesbrough

Reda Johnson would have scored that with his 8ollocks...

And with Reda at centre half we would have been 12-1 down by that stage in the match.

Looks like their man Clayton anticipated such a happening by jumping behind his colleague on the line and shoving him forward lolThe scene reminded me of rugby union TBH.

Bomb scare at centre-back but he would certainly have been better at LWB than Penney was last night.

Had we have got the indirect free kick, how do we think that would have gone?

so close to the line they could just put a wall on it. Tap to reach to leather it, or pull it back and try to spread them out?

That’s a foul even in rugby, weird that when flint does exact same thing in our half it’s a free kick but when 2-3 do it on goal line; some even going through our player to get onto and obstruct ball it’s not.

Guess its it’s a bit unprecedented but how  it’s a foul to them and not to us is beyond me.

And Reda would have probably smartened up both Ayala and Friend... Game would have finished eight-a-side with Pulis doing his nut.
