Thorpe Hesley OWL
Just had that feeling watching it in real time that he could have tapped it in. Might be harsh but stand by my initial reaction
Flat Owl
Reda Johnson would have scored that with his 8ollocks...

That’s my view too. It presented itself had he been quicker to react. Not that we deserved it.
Guest Maxine
I'd have shoved the man in and the bloody ball in.

sonofbert2
I thought from the other angle, and still do from here, that Lees was just about to celebrate the goal. Didn't know scrums were allowed in football. Indirect freekick but no chance so late on. Very unlucky for it not to creep over the line though. Otley Owl
Fair play to the Middlesbrough player who sort of lies down and puts his head into his teammates back. I can sort of understand what he's doing but can't explain it.

Stoop
There’s just so much wrong with that it was unbelievable 1. Shove on Lees 2. Hand ball 3. Traps ball between his legs 4. Every f**ker just jumps on top of the ball which is clear obstruction Result? Free kick to Middlesbrough

Looks like their man Clayton anticipated such a happening by jumping behind his colleague on the line and shoving him forward The scene reminded me of rugby union TBH. Bomb scare at centre-back but he would certainly have been better at LWB than Penney was last night. Edited October 20, 2018 by Guest

BowOwl
Had we have got the indirect free kick, how do we think that would have gone? so close to the line they could just put a wall on it. Tap to reach to leather it, or pull it back and try to spread them out?

Guess its it’s a bit unprecedented but how it’s a foul to them and not to us is beyond me.
