Spends half the time injured, suspended or unavailable for some other reason. Even when fit he's inconsistent and spends half the time on the bench. Hugely talented individual but a luxury we can ill afford. Give over

oldishowl
He was definitely injured last 10 mins at Bristol, could hardly walk. Hope he didn’t damage his hamstring through lack of warming up before coming on, he doesn’t over extend himself in warm ups!

Jim
Disappointing news but not as big a blow as it may have been a while ago. What I'm trying to say is this manager us used to not having him available so will probably cope with his absence better than the previous head coach. That said agree with a lot of what's being said about him being important to us and being one of the best players in the division on his day but I would argue losing Bannan would hit us harder nowadays? He and Matias provide the pace that gives us a different dimension. Certainly Joao will start tomorrow now. We needed his height anyway but now we are desperate for his pace too. Hope Winnall is ready soon. Could do with him at least on the bench. We only have Fletcher, Nuhiu and Joao fit forwards.
S36 OWL
We can cope without Fessi. It would have been a bigger blow losing Reach or Bannan .

Depends on your definition of cope. And there are many other factors/players which have influence on a teams final table position, but this simple table doesn't support your case Edited October 18, 2018 by zzmdu
FreshOwl
Some of these lads just shouldn’t be playing football anymore Every week I dread this pre match conference because there’s always some unexpected bs, yet another man down ffs, 8 or 9 at a time it’s pathetic

TheEnchanter
Basically we CAN cope without him as our results have shown. However, considering Matias is also out it's a bit concerning that we won't have the pace and energy up top that has been useful for us this season. We are going to have to find another way to play and get a good result. Luckily with the range of players and abilities we have in the squad I trust Jos to be more than capable of finding a solution.
