Initially I didn't think he was worth the fee, but he's worked hard, plays where he's told (even if it baffles us, never mind him!), is never injured and could develop into a PL player. Modest, well spoken, intelligent, a most unusual footballer to be honest. I really hope we don't have to sell him in January but if we do the fact he is such a grounded, clearly dedicated and seemingly clean-living individual with a fantastic fitness record in addition to his obvious footballing talents will certainly add a few millions to the offers.
