Old Woodbourn Owl
Just read an article in the Independent saying Scotland are looking at Steven Fletcher now he is back playing for Wednesday again, should be an incentive to keep the big man motivated. Could also keep wee Barry on his toes as he would be noticed whilst they are watching as for me he stands out in most games. Could soon have a team full of internationals if things pan out. Mr. Chow
a good player on his day, hardly surprising. They cant do any worse with him in the already poor team.

The only way is S6
How BB isn't picked is very strange. Glad he isn't though, so he can rest.

Fleck is a really good player to be fair, both Bannan and Fleck are much better than what McLeish is selecting now Edited October 16, 2018 by steveger

james o connor
No idea why they don’t pick bannan . As for fletcher , he’d fit right in as no Scotland player seems to be able to hit a barn door
striker
Doesn't surprise me, but being selfish after being out for so long would prefer he concentrates on club football, resting during international breaks rather than playing more football. Wouldn't blame him at all for wanting to play international football though if he gets the call.
Mystic Neg
Would be a complete waste of whatever legs he has left, surprised he hasn't retired from International football.
WalthamOwl
Find it unbelievable Bannan isn’t a regular starter for them.

They’re really not. Bannan is alright but he is definitely not better than McTominay, Armstrong, McDonald, or more McGinn and he’s older than them all too. Three of those 4 play in the English Premier League. Bannan arguably should be in the squad ahead of McGregor at Celtic but he shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting lineup.
Mrmason69
Scotland must be desperate if they have to play Fletcher. Not even a hopeless Sunderland team wanted him. They must have all collapsed in disbelief at Sunderland when we signed up at £50k a week. We must have doubled or trebled his wages

Bloke is on a reported £40k per week. Being motivated should be a given.

It is patently obvious that Bannan has been at the top of his game this season. Had a better season than McGinn and McTominay isnt PL standard wheras Bannan is. Calling Bannan alright is pretty daft. Not sure why you are so down on our club these days.
