Maybe be I’m wrong though? Depends what kind of back injury you suffer from S72.... Hip injuries are very common in golf......... As are shoulder and back issues too .. Good warm up exercises are vital to playing golf .. As are most sports ....
Freshfish
GH: Reight, doc, I’m bored rigid, training and rehab is going ok but what’s the best exercise I can get that helps with flexibility and isn’t a high impact sport. Doc: Golf’s your best option but somewhere flat -ish like a links course. Back 9 at Tankersley would be ok but a decent links even better. Start in Scotland and work your way down to the Northumberland coast. GH: Cheers Doc. JL: Damage your hand, wrist, kick a billboard and break your foot, damage your knee at a BBQ or twist your ankle in a rabbit hole and you’re off my Christmas Card list !! 1
theowlsman
Went straight to the 19th hole for a pint and a game of snooker I’ve heard. On his sixth sausage roll too. Got it from his Twitter account.

Think you’re missing the point, nothing to do with having a hobby, the blokes been out for a year with a hip injury yet he’s out playing golf, a sport where you use your hips more than anything! Don’t think it’s unfair for some to speculate tbh
outlaw pete
Gary Hooper has a major problem heading towards him,, At the end of this season he will be out of contract. Who in their right mind are going to offer a unfit crock a contract any where near what he is getting at the moment.. Pay as you play maybe ? Your gravy train is drying up Mr Hooper, enjoy your golf. jonesy87shef
As long as it can’t aggrivate his existing injury I don’t see any problem whatsoever with this. Footballers do have to have a life too. Now if he was skipping training or rehab it’d be a huge problem. Maybe some players could have a less frivolous attitude to what they post on social media as it can have a negative effect. This situation however shouldn’t be the case.
