Look at this another way if this was a premiership game and Man Utd or Man City had just been told they have to play the game on the Friday 2 days after mot of your players are still on international duty. Do you think Mourinho would have said great think of the tv money or do you think his reaction would have been some what different.

We get £250,000 for every home tv sky games this makes it 3 in only 3 or 4 weeks so that money into the coffers to help with achieving FFP, for me its good for the club because the game being on sky will not affect the POTG tickets as with the prices we charge there is little or none POTG tickets sold.

According to the Times this morning, Championship clubs get 100k for each home live Sky game (120k for Sunday games and 140k for Thursday games?) the away club gets 10k, clubs receive ZERO for Red Button games.

Christ.

Anyone who turns around and tries to tell me the EFL is well run needs their head examined.

ZERO money for red button games? They've agreed to receive no additional income for having mid-week games broadcast on Sky? An agreement which has already been shown to have harm mid-week attendances? What kind of clueless tosspots agree to such a thing?!?!

And better yet, this is the same organisation which promotes (and punishes for non-compliance) profit and sustainability...

Think an improved TV deal started this season, maybe taking into account potential loss of revenue re red button. The report in the Times, albeit up to the end of Sep 18, stated that on average (from what I remember from the article) attendances were down 8.8%, compared to the 4.5% that usually occurs with midweek games,

does he think that the 7 who are away will have forgotten what he wants them to do …...he can plan and prepare  as much as he wants but he wont have a clue what team and formation  he's up against until bullen hands the team sheet over and hour before the start .

Game plan never changes for pulis teams, percentages football at its best (or worst depending on your point of view).

get it forward as quicki as you can and launch it to the big boys overloading the box.

Pulis is carping on about the disadvantages of having ten or so players away on international duty, he wants the playing field to be level in respect of preparation time. So what are his thoughts in having a 40million pound parachute advantage over us and most other teams in the league, does he suggest giving it back?
