How much have you found train tickets for? Looking at £46 I think unless I am mistaken. 

 

We use a two together railcard, with that got them for £18.45 return so it'd be nearer £30 without one. 

 

Split tickets - we got a day return Sheffield-Derby and singles each way from Derby-Birmingham. It's the same train, and after a bit of cancelling and re-adding journeys eventually got the same seats allocated for both legs on the trip there and just a couple of rows apart on the way back.

Worth their weight in gold are those Railcards.*

 

* Obviously that isn't meant to be literal because they're a piece of plastic and probably weigh in at a gold equivalent of £1.28.

Only 850 tickets left first thing this morning so must be close to selling out by now I should think.

ive been doing this for 3years £15 extra for booze £15 less for them rip off train companies.
