FreshOwl
We’ve been here a million times before though, the guy just can’t stay fit, so how are we supposed to be excited about his return when we know full well he’s gonna be out again soon

For all ten minutes before he gets sent off or breaks down again. If he could just temper some of his challenges he would mitigate a lot of the risk of both of injury and giving away silly advantages to the opposition. Shame as I love his spirit; not quite that of the Airborne massive.

Now the manager of our team says he's not been in full training until recently. I just don't know who to believe anymore! I certainly wouldn't take our manager to be a liar personally. Theres no reason for him to.
OxonOwl
When Carlos was here Sam didn't train all the time but considered himself fit to play and play he did. Jos doesn't consider you fit if you can't train and even when you can then you need to have enough game time under your belt to be considered 'Championship match fit' . This is where the disconnect is between what Sam thinks and says and what the manager thinks. Edited October 5, 2018 by OxonOwl

So you're telling me that some bloke's mate on Facebook might not be an entirely reliable source for inside info. on our club? He said something like: "He will be almost sure and when we are ahead in our play while we now almost sure that we maybe make these moments to learn for us..." But no mention of Joey not doing the professional foul Did he also not mention we had three central defenders on the pitch watching a player run from the half way line without anyone of them getting a tackle in. Why single out Penney other than just trying to keep his feet on the ground.
Lord Snooty
That thing with Penney's cross reminded me of Grant Holt that time charging up the flank and then spanking in a cross, the opposition going straight down the other end and scoring and Chris Turner going absolutely crackers about it. Come on @roland nilson No problem you negging my post, but interested to know why. With Joey-Bannan-Reach playing... P16. W10. D4 L2 (and one of those 2 defeats was Fulham with B.B. off after 30 minutes) Games where this trio didn’t play:- QPR - no Bannan 4-2 defeat Brentford - no Reach 2-0 defeat Forest - no Joey 2-1 defeat WBA - no Bannan 2-2 draw Extraordinary no? However, did he mention Joey’s inability to bring down their player when he was on a breakaway? If not, you wonder whether he is golden balls and untouchable? Of course not. Nothing is Joey’s fault.
