Judging by their performances, even against Rangers, it appeared that many had lost faith in Carlos. Hooper is a high earner, and we badly miss him IMO. They were / are getting paid more than enough not to be suffering hangovers or feeling sorry for themselves of any form. This might seem harsh, but from what I saw up to Christmas, we were going down. That's the real reason Carlos jumped ship, because he knew it as well.
