Beholder
Still gutted about last night but the big positive for me was Onomah. He's class and he's got the physical attributes to go with it. The fact that it fell apart as soon as he went off says it all. A midfield of Bannan Onomah and Pelupessy with Reach pushed up a bit should compete at the top end of this league. SallyCinnamon
I was very impressed too. Has time on the ball, good on the ball and has the size to compete at this level. Promising stuff.
OwlofOliveGrove
Absolutely, his substitution emptied the midfield for WBA to waltz through. That and the fact Nuhiu not being replaced by Fletch meant we had no target man. Competing at the top of this league will involve needing to shore the leaky defence up though. alanharper
Thought he played well. Don't know if it's been said in any other threads but I thought he did brilliantly to assist Reach's goal as well. Most players would have just tried to win a corner in that position.
hawksmore
I think both loan players are very good and will do well for us this season. Some much needed size and bite added to the team.

Otherwise yiu have to drop Bannan or reach. Only other consideration would be Hector for pelupessy.
WalthamOwl
Why the hell did Jos take him off and replace him with an inexperienced youngster against a midfield full of experience?!?
owlZfan84
First 15 minutes or so I thought he was very wasteful in possession, but then he sorted himself out. Overall all though, very encouraging signs.
Beholder
I think he would have helped immensely against Leeds too.

Was saying the same thing to my mate when the replay was shown. Genuinely positive play. Very very encouraging performance last night.

I know he made mistakes last night (not bringing their player down before he scored being the most glaring) but IMO he's massively important to the balance in midfield. Plus Hector is needed at the back....very much so. Edited October 4, 2018 by Almat

Hector in the sitting position means he defends set pieces as a defender anyway.
yeadonowl
One of the big positives from him last night was he always looks to go forward unlike others around him who want to go backwards or sideways we’ve lacked someone to drive forward from midfield since lee’s Injury
DuttyTeabags
4 1 3 2 innit. Keeper (Dawson really needs to stop flapping) Palmer. Lees. Hector. Penney Joey Deacon Onomah. Bazza. Reach FF. Fletch
BRADDO
Very impressed with him. Midfield fell apart when he was subbed.
striker
Thought he did well, grew into the game and showed lots of energy and forward intent. Not sure how he fits in with Bannan returning unless a 3 man midfield, but a very positive performance, both him and Joey did very well considering the quality of the opposition in the midfield area. Just goes to show how energy and mobility around the pitch can make us look a much better team, compared with the slow lethargic midfield we've played previously, although apparently packed with quality. Paul..
He was brilliant, do we rest Penney and put Reach at LWB with Onomah moving into the Reach role? Although of course we then lose Reach's 40 yard tap-ins...
