Owling Wolfe
Is it just me or did Joao look like he didn’t give a dlying foookk when he came on. I appreciate Nuhiu had to come off because he ran his legs of but why oh why not bring Fletcher on.
FreshOwl
Don’t know whose the more unnatural runner, Dave or Joao
latemodelchild
Didn't put any effort in at all. Pathetic considering he should have been fighting for his place. Totally uninterested.
Guest samowl
Agree. But been like it all season. He did nothing against Leeds. Yet gets the nod in front of Fletcher. Who put a good shift in Friday
thatladfromchap
He came on and was constantly fouled. Dont think it was lack of interest, just struggled to get into the game.
Southie_Owl
Joke ref not to send off Hegazi when Joao could have run through on goal. Dawson could have seen red too Just seems to be the way with refs and Wednesday Hopefully Joao can find his best form again soon
Stevelknievel
Joao looks like he’s gone back to him being “hit or miss” with his performances. He’s either unbelievable or completely poo . Think you only need to bring him on when you’ve exhausted all other options just think fizz let’s just try anything.
SiJ
I thought Nuhiu was excellent tonight. Noticed some slating his performance in the first half...well, needless to say, he was sorely missed when he did come off. Did absolutely everything that Lucas didn't. theowlsman
Said in the other thrad he didn’t look interested. Should’ve been busting a gut to get past defenders but instead looked for fouls and free kicks. Easy way out.

I'm an Essex Owl
Did not look up for it when he came on but was denied by a couple of typically crap refereeing decisions...

wellbeaten-the-owl
At no point since he has been here has he shown he can play the lone central striker role.
Steve Down South
Honestly think it's time to stop making excuses and accept he's not good enough.
stuzzas_barmyarmy
Looked like he was sulking when he came on not adthe’s biggest fan but it showed when he went off tonight .

As a wide forward in a three, or in a two alongside Nuhiu, he has been excellent. Lone-striker, or in a two with FF - no.

hawksmore
How can it be 'lack of effort' though?! I mean he came on being asked to play a role he's just not suited to at all, with FF beginning to fade too and the midfield dynamics completely changed as well.
