What are we defending?

Why do we roll over and let them come at us when we could still have a comfy 2-0 win. I have noticed we go up and just let teams come back at us looking for an equaliser, is the tactics or the team in general.

What are we defending to sit so far back when taking the lead?

Tbf, they scored on the counter attack

Disagree

if anything at 2-0 up it was looking like we was going to get a 3rd.

Once they get the goal back with 4mins left we should manage the game.

Penney could have took it in the corner and tried running the clock down however when he gets in the box he should do better and pick someone out. Joey should then take a booking on the half way line

there players did it 3 or 4 times with FF and jaou

How many times now have we gone 2-0 up at home and then fizzed it up? We’re cursed I tells ya.

Before last night, once in the last nine years.

Twice if you count being 4-2 up against Huddersfield and drawing.

We sit so deep defending abling them to sit a higher attacking line, it’s flipping ridiculous we’ve done it in numberous games now.

Those goals especially the second one came straight through the midfield putting more pressure on the backs.

The curse!!!! Apparently Owlerton Ghost is the spirit that first layed the curse upon us.

As Halloween approaches, it would be a great time to explore this curse in more detail.

:ghoulguy: this happened because of the curse. This is the evil spirit manifested in human form. The same evil spirit that is to blame for our less than convincing defence.

Go easy on Jos, he's up against unseen dark spirits, not even the Thai monks could lift the curse.
