Inspector Lestrade
He let one goal in which every goalie would have failed to save other than that did nothing but be professional. What's the problem?

s6 owl
FFS can people just forget about Westwood! He will never play for this club again.

Tell u what that Kitch fella would not have had freedom of park to dictate the game if we'd have played Matias.

Decision making, going for the wrong balls, flapping, short balls out (probably Jos's suggestion), etc. I'm sure you can see he didn't have a great game, but he's a real assett for the future. It's not what he did wrong tonight,, but what he's done right recently.
McRightSide
He did alright. Handling wasn’t razor sharp but didn’t cost us anything. Theres more flapping in this thread than happened in his box.
Costello 77
Getting slapped by one of their "fans" must have been playing on his mind. He's ok and is progressing.

Westwood would have saved it,,,,,with both hands.....caught it, done an instant forward roll on landing and pinged a 50 yard ball straight to Fletcher, run up to the half way line to collect a return pass, beat 5 of their defenders and curled one in to the top corner to put us 2-0 up
matthefish2002
Had a nervy game last night. More by luck then judgement only let one in which he had no chance with. Be interesting to see how he responds v WBA if selected.
james o connor
Funny there were no threads like this after westwood went down like a sack of spuds 4 times against the pigs. Some of his performances were down right shocking last season. Nowt like owls talk for hanging a player out to dry.

S13-OWL-B16
We need to let West Brom know they’re nothing special if they score next week! “We concede every week, we concede every weeeeek, you’re nothing special, we concede every week”.

Bluesteel
I think the question is, do we need to give a young player the whole season and dropping them in at the deep end or are we better off rotating a bit. Wildsmith has had good games here and Westwood too.

All at Sea no skill tonight Looking for nothing but fouls n set pieces Not a 90 minute player at the moment .. We played with 10 men tonight. He is not our best player he's got to be an impact player for us .. The team is more important than the individual. ... This must be a wind up. FF ran and worked his socks off tonight; the issue was midfield and the lack of creativity, movement and control

Good prospect but we need to look again at the KW situation with a view to bringing him back in.
swfcjack27
With experience he will become a good keeper his shot stopping is already up there. Makes me nervous in other areas especially at crosses. When coming you either catch it or punch it to halfway and take the strikers head off with it but he seems to flap it back to danger. Could have cost us 3 goals last night.
Adam Reachs left peg
Has decent shot stopping abilities but won’t come from crosses and when he does he just punches it couple of times last night he could of caught it, spends far to long on the floor when he had the ball and then decides to roll it out putting us back under pressure think he only booted upfield once when atty and Joao were on needs to release the ball quicker
djorkaeff
He’s a good keeper. He’s 22. We should support him. We we lack a loovens, natural leader. Lees is not. Our right backs aren’t good enough.
