Carlos Carvalhal says he's back on the market

Could the training pitches be a problem as Newcastle had problems with injuries and traced it to pitches.

Could be, we will never know. Thing with Carlos and managers like him, smoke and mirrors.

However looking at his time with Swansea. Seem to remember them suffering a raft of injuries. In a short spell.

Then players here complaining (Boyd) that training wasn't as intense as he would like.

Towards the end, some very bizarre stuff. As things unravelled.

Great sitcom

Carlos - Seasoned wide boy who thinks he’s more sophisticated than he is.

Jos - Underling wanting to achieve more than his limitations will ever allow.

Chasiri - Cuckoo in the nest striving to be accepted.

Must be be called - Only fools and Wednesday fans.

Yeah Boyd’s a really good example isn’t he?

Boyd isn’t as intense as we all wish he was. Dreadful signing and another waste of money.

Always amuses me this sort of comment. Based on a personal dislike of a manager then it’s more the players than the manager when it goes well but suddenly becomes the manager’s fault when the form dips.

Oh this old tired canard.  Been a lament as old as time, no?

A gaffer's remit is to galvanize team and pull the entire org out of any prolonged absences of form.  CC could not.

ah i think you misunderstood my original post.

i wasnt talking about making changes in game, i meant more generally.

as in if we are on a bad run of results jos is not scared to change the system we play, like he did last season and already this.

unlike CC who in his infinite wisdom, believed HIS way was the only way to play.

i thought your first reply to me was odd saying 'he didnt last night did he'

i mean, on the back of 4 games unbeaten hes not going to is he

didnt realise i'd replied to the same poster, so i'm not on one of those owlstalk witch hunts. My comment about the forest match was around Jos's seemingly absence of any cajoling/sorting things out during the match. There are times when he's just too laid back for me, should be up and telling the players if they're not doing what he wants.

Article in the Times from Carlos today saying I'm not happy if my team win but don't perform well.

Well that happened many times with us he can't have been very happy at all.

Such a bullshitter.

Literally everything that comes out of his mouth is PR spin

People actually fall for it too
