Eastleigh Owl
He reckons Bazza is a magician. Just imagine he played like that against us. We'd all be drooling. Well done Barry, and well done SWFC for being able to extend his contract.
Ronio
Yep, totally agree. He literally is the engine in midfield. I know sometimes people take the wee wee out of his height, myself included. I will say though, pound for pound, Bazza has been our best signing this century. Rogerwyldesmullet
Pound for pound? Grand per gram more like! The East Bank songsters are correct. Indubitably, on current form, at this point in history, he is better than Zidane.

Ever the pessimist
Still can’t believe we managed to sign him up to a new contract. Cracking player.

pressy
Hes now adding goals to his game which makes him a great player instead of a good player problem is if he keeps it up the vultures will be circling come January if we are not in a good position in the league

No Uniform
I was always frustrated with him. He was technically brilliant, but for a period we couldn't change the team shape because of Carlos' refusal to ever drop him. He has become so much of a better player under Jos. fred mciver
The goals now turned him into a Prem player, with Prem value.
Quist
He has improved dramatically this season and if he keeps scoring team will be competing at top of league. Jos has knack of really getting best out of some lads and BB is the latest. Only slight worry is he has picked up 4 yellows so far and will be soon in danger of missing a game through suspension. meggoisgod
I've criticised him alot over the last 2 seasons for not getting forward enough...but he has won me over this season, quality footballer
torryowl
it seems though that bannan is a problem to jos listening to the radio interview after the game …..if this lot don't buck up there ideas and start trying to create themselves instead of just giving it to baz then I can see some changes in the very near future …….for those that didn't hear the interview he wasn't a happy chappy . Thought the lad Woods was excellent for them until we cut the supply to him at the start of the second half. Looks like the difference between the two at the moment is Bazza's finishing - another GOTM contender. As for replacing him if he becomes unavailable, could this be where the elusive Mr Abdi could make his mark?
northeastowl
Not only is it brilliant being able to watch a player like Bannan on a match day but more importantly is that he guenuinely seems to love it here. All his interviews are full of comments about how welcome he feels here more than any other club he has been at and how he’d stay here for the rest of his career if he could. Not only does he say these things he backs it up with performances and signing new contracts. His passion today was second to none. He was bollocking players and coaching them at the right times. Agree 100%. I think that's why Joey & Reach were taken off. At least Onomah carried the ball himself & Penney was a wide option when Hector came on.
