Here's one to put the cat amongst the pigeons. Who's officially the best manager we've had in the last 20 years?

Statistically Gary Megson.

If I had to pick one though it would be Brian Laws for me.

There's no doubt about it.

Jos Luhukay is doing what's needed for the long term future of the club.

What good are all these managers who need millions to spend and leave us in a mess

Dave Jones - First half season was excellent best not to mention the rest.

Stuart Gray - Did brilliantly with what he was left with but it was a grind sitting through it.

Carlos - First season was a great time to support Wednesday. Playoff campaigns <shudder>

In conclusion we always simmer around being s**t with odd glimpses of joy!

Here's hoping Jos breaks the cycle! I believe... but then again i always do!

If it's win percentage in last 20 years, then statistically it's Megson.

Notwithstanding that, best for me is Carlos (2015-16 season only.....) :manager::carlos::carlosswfc:

Statistically and in terms of building a team Megson, Id say the most tactically astute Stuart Gray and the most likable probably laws.

The period after the (ludicrous) dismissal of Big Ron 2.0 was indeed a dark one.

Since and including Sturrock we've not actually been all that badly served. Irvine the obvious exception. A lot of the decisions to dismiss were right at the time but the fact that a manager runs out of steam doesn't invalidate their earlier achievements.

He's in my avatar. Special mentions to Stuart Gray. Brian Laws and KPS.
