Bazza has praised Joeys influence in midfield (star). Says he allows him to get forward more so he can have more influence in games. Does all the hard graft.

He's an interesting player Joey. It's hard to describe exactly what he does, but does seem to be effective.

Just seems to occupy an area of the pitch and move the ball along when it comes to him.

I think this is why he looks terrible when he has a as off day, as his whole game is about discipline and consistency

Make a a good point. Might explains his added attacking influence in recent matches. Bannan has been superb so far and shows the underrated role Joey plays imo

I went to Brentford and Wigan... I beg to differ.

Hope these 2 games weren't a flash in 2 pans!

Nothing against him as such but don't you think he will be replaced by Onomah?  Joey might be good at breaking things up and delivers well from dead ball situations.  Won't Onomah offer more overall?

No cos they play different roles.

Onomah will more likely replace Reach.

Really?  Onomah tends to like playing deep bring the ball out whereas Reach is more effective playing further forward.  Can't see Jos wanting to replace Reach surely Reach is the sort of player Jos likes.

Onomah will have been brought in to add the energy that reach bring to the midfield.

He might like to sit back a bit but he isn't of the mould of Pelupessy. He won't be replacing him.
