Phil Henson (I think that was his name). Came well regarded in the 70's div 3 near death season and then seemed to have no confidence at all

and got booed a lot. He scored in one game at Hillsborough I saw, seeming to put all the negativity behind him, then we got a penalty and he

takes the ball, all confident now, and hits the bar. Back to the boos! Unless I'm mis-remembering it all!

Not sure if already mentioned. Can't remember if it was due to injury, suspension or both but we had to loan a keeper to play in the League Cup semi-final against Blackburn who was willing to join a struggling Championship club on loan and also wasn't already cup tied. Ended up with somebody's third choice keeper,  I can't even remember who we loaned him from now. Poss Wimbledon?
