I know fans who actually dont' go to Hillsborough anymore - they just do the away games now due to cost

I do agree, buy how do they get the priority points to get tickets for the away games, unless they use someone else's - for another thread though!

It’s a bit weird not knowing the players names though isn’t it. We have the internet and TV and stuff.

I think it is a bit odd but I have encountered fans of other clubs that don't seem interested in who the players are. <edit> the players in their teams</edit>

The core of the support we get is outstanding.

Both home and away.

Just wish we could tap into the casual bunch more often

Probably the price and geographical location...and the results/performances last season

All four away games sold out this season so far

Brilliant support as always from Sheffield Wednesday fans

Can only see it continuing this season too - could we end up with a full season of total sell out away followings?

Clubs get the full Darwen end at Blackburn if they need it, about 8000. Can't see us filling it. Think 90 per cent will be sell outs

Think at end of the season it will be:-

Leeds

Villa

Middlesborough

Owls

Blunts

Amazing that teams like Derby and Forest have such crap away support.

thats because of the asbo banning orders don't allow them to leave the city boundaries.:duntmatter:

Unlikely given the way they get called names or slated because they dont' know every individual player on the pitch etc etc

It's hardly like the core support make them feel welcome ever is it

Too right we don't want them, pains in the backside and the wait for a slash becomes unbearable. They should stick to watching with Jeff and the lads.

So what's that mean in numbers then?

How would they get tickets for away games when most don't make general sale.

Mates etc. I've got one for Forest, yet I don't have a season ticket and only been to Wolves game this season.

Could have gone to the midweek Millwall game but not paying those prices

Millwall was £30 on kop, Forest is £25.

Travel cost means Forest is a more expensive.

away games are far more fun,day out ,few beers and atmosphere is way better

Hillsborough is a bore and too expensive

not been to a game at Hillsborough since the steel derby last season, forest will be my 18th away game since start of last season.

tickets are easy to get for away games if you put the effort in to find them

Pretty much sums me up last year.  6 away days.  No home.  Mind you I live in the midlands so some are easier than coming up to Sheffield
