Steelman
He's not won me over, nowhere near. I'll wait and see how many games he plays once the clocks go back. I'm keeping an open mind though.
cookeh
Happy for him. Working his socks off and his pace and movement are a welcome sight.
Tarringtonowl
I thought he put in a really good performance at Reading. He is clearly a good footballer and hopefully he can avoid injury and continue to impact positively in games. All we need now is a some goals from him, a few like the one at Leeds a couple of seasons ago would do fine !
Inspector Lestrade
Should be allowed more of a free reign to attack instead of dropping so deep to defend.

Can't argue with that, just feel he would be more effective attacking taking the game to the opposition. Which is a form of defence in itself. SiJ
Would quite like to see him and Nando in the same side. Move Joao into the middle and have Nando and Matias play off him. Something to consider at home.
james o connor
Really pleased for him . Many are probably gunnimg for him for keeping forestieri out , but I couldn’t care less. We are winning and that’s all that matters

outlaw pete
Its a long season playing in the Championship. Players will move in and out of the team as the season progresses. Matias has done well, but I am sure there is still a place for FF as the season progresses.. UTO
dan140177
Can’t MM and FF play in the same team then?

After all Wallace and FF played in the same side many times, with great success. Marco’s willingness to work under Jos is a credit to both of them. Marco still needs to work on his concentration though. I notice he loses his man for a split second, which is enough for a decent forward to be gone. However, I think one of MM or FF in the side is what we will see for the most part. Fernando has missed many matches each season, and Marco’s brittleness is the stuff of legends. I expect Jos will use one or other, which makes good sense in many ways.

If Abdi was ever fit, he’d probably play the Reach role. Not like for like, he doesn’t appear to have the running power that Reach has. What he does have though, in the limited appearances I’ve seen, is a sharp brain, and a full range of passing. He’s one of those players that sees passes where most don’t Getting him properly fit though, seems a long way off.

pgmetcalf
He has ability, but he's been crocked a lot. Whether or not he shows what he's capable of in every match is a different matter
gurujuan
3 minutes ago, F. Spiksley said: Why certain? Because they look our best long term front three. I’m happy with Joao playing where he is for the moment, but he’s a central striker playing wider. As he becomes stronger, he can then lead the line. Matias and Forestieri are our best wide attackers
