I dont know if its more important but its also important. We do neee to do both though

Wages sap revenue ,one off costs don't unless money is borrowed to finance the purchase then it becomes a revenue issue until the loan is paid off,so wages are the big issue that's why Chansiri is always talking about creating revenue streams

Forget revenue streams stop the spiralling costs out at the club, you can keep throwing money at it but if you have players like Abdi on £30,000 + a week but has not been seem for 18 months.

The guy is not injured but never plays a game at any level??????

How can purchase not go against revenue/income? Its still a cost whether its a one off or monthly payments. Wages are an issue as is the 30 million we have spent in purchases

Purchases do count the fee is spread over the length of the contract

We signed joey (450k), van aken (2.7m) and rhodes (10.5 mill) the same season.

Season before we spent just under 10 mill.

Before that we spent just under 15 mill.

We did raise a whole 2.7 mill in sales in that time though.

Transfer fee's don't work like that, the total fee is divided over the length of the contract so Rhodes signing on a 4 year deal will mean only 2.5 mil of the total will apply for each years accounts for P&S

Interesting what Gary Monk is saying, they are turning down big bids for Che Adams, Monk citing that, they have a small squad, and can’t spend, so why would they let their best players go. He says the board agree. Wonder if this is the stance DC is taking?

They've also got the possibility of 12 points deduction next month so might be thinking they need their best players to avoid relegation.

To address financial problems so they can kick on next season. That's what they - and we - should be doing. We've spent two seasons going backwards. If DC doesn't wake up and smell the coffee, it will mean a third year of regression.

Could this also be the reason they only have 5 players out of contract and one is a loan signing, compared to our 12 + 2 loans

It may work out that way depending on how the deal is structured. I was only showing the disparity between our expenditure and our income from transfers, our derisory income from transfers will also be spread accordingly. Ultimately, however you slice it we have a big gap to fill

there's loads of stuff lined up but they're waiting for Bruce to start to announce it to create euphoria and sell some more tickets.

FF leaving for 6m, Reach for 10m and we're bringing in Grant Holt and Junior Agogo out of retirement as new full backs.  Gonna be mint.

Holt would still get in, in front of Nuhiu.
