If he has the same qualities as a previous lower league winger we signed (JJ) then I don’t see the problem with this. Snapping up young players from the lower leagues is probably what a club like ours should be doing. Birley Owl 1867 Posted January 9, 2019 Share Posted January 9, 2019 Mackay-Steven would be a great signing imo. In all honesty, doubt hed come, but of he did he'd replace Reach in our team. For me, we need to sign a RB, LB, a winger and a Defensive mid first before we go for any other positions. Not liking these reports were in for a striker. He's done OK with Aberdeen, but I'd be surprised if we were after him, he'd have to be about 8 years younger for his level of performance to be of interest to a second-tier side.
