Sean Clare

Recommended Posts

His Twitter still covered in Wednesday pics and he congratulated the lads who got a full debut last week. Not after a full thread of abuse, just wondering with FFP and wanting to do things to a budget a free signing of a young midfielder? Give us more strength in depth? Could we send in Jos to talk him around? Or has anyone heard anything that i have missed? Why has he not signed anywhere else when we did offer a contract? Just after any updates anyone has heard? I know many have tagged him as a traitor but i was just wondering what is going on?

He has gone to Swansea :duntmatter:

Sean James Kweku Clare (born 18 September 1996) is an English professional footballer who is a free agent after not agreeing a new contract with his previous club Sheffield Wednesday.

Wikipedia says this, nothing on Swansea website and no official photo shoot holding a new club shirt????????

Think he is in London getting specialist treatment for an injury. Deffo free agent.

Fair enough, very brave of him to turn down our contract and go through rehab himself, which i presume means he is funding his own treatment. All seems nuts.

As he was under contract here when his injury happened we will more than likely be liable for the costs of his rehabilitation.

I'd have thought they'd have some kind of private medical insurance.

If everyone whom we ever offered contract and turned it down can sod off, then I'm not sure we would be able to fill start 11 for today's game.

I think that stuff has been covered weeks ago when everyone was hurling abuse at him. Was just wondering what the issue was for him not playing elsewhere. He's injured and getting treatment in London apparently. Answered my question anyway. Lets see where he ends up. He may end up back here if we need cover at centre mid and we are his best option. Players turn down contracts a few times before agreeing them some times. Lets just see.
