Exactly.....the intent was there..........a player doesn't have to get crocked to warrant a red card......hence sending-offs just for putting your head against an opponent.......so it was a red for me.

They do, and they might even add an extra game suspension.

Not that it’s warranted but because they like to discourage red card appeals, especially early season.
