Steelman
Good for them. And when the red is upheld, maybe refs will stop thinking Forestieri dives all the time.
coreyswfc
It wasn't even a yellow. 2
agentwalker
It was one of them similar to the hull one from dawson, never touched FF but if he hadn't have moved it *could* have been red.
Inspector Lestrade
Rash tackle didn't think it was worthy of a red card. The ref seemed to blow constantly for fouls especially in the first half, I didn't think it was a particularly dirty game.
darra
Could go either way. He won the ball but his foot was raised with studs showing and he made contact therefore showing intent which by the letter of the law is a red. 1

Exactly.....the intent was there..........a player doesn't have to get crocked to warrant a red card......hence sending-offs just for putting your head against an opponent.......so it was a red for me. attyjake
Never a red, he clearly won the ball a yard before Fessi arrived, it was just Fessi's speed which caused him to get to where the ball was just after and he fell over the guys legs. Just being fair to the Ipswich player!
trevdi9
in my experience it is very rare that reds are overturned ,but it does happen occasionally if the case is strong enough

TrickyTrev
Good for them. We've already got the 3 points so doesn’t really matter now anyway.
OxonOwl
I can see why it was given but I thought it was a little harsh but we have so many against us I don't really care.
HIGHERSTATE
Fair enough, it was a dubious decision. The ref just saw the raised studs and a player running into them. But after seeing their goal the player close to them putting the defender off looked offside. Edited August 28, 2018 by HIGHERSTATE

matthefish2002
I don't think it was a red but don't think the FA will over turn it as they normally back the ref in 99% of cases.

They do, and they might even add an extra game suspension. Not that it’s warranted but because they like to discourage red card appeals, especially early season. Fast Forward
Nsiala should get a 4 match ban for a vexatious appeal.
Gnarwolf
Not a red but from our past experience it won't get rescinded
