Saw him make his home debut as a striker around 1960. He was terrible.

Switched to wing half season after and was brilliant

Bring back stripes!

In those days, you couldn’t buy replica kits around the country, you had to buy from a range of colours in sports shops Really annoyingly, the nearest one to that Wednesday kit was a Bukta one, that had blue cuffs

Not the best Centre Forward despite his hat trick against AS Roma.

Fantastic player when switched to half back. Think he even got an England call up.

Sadly, often remembered for the one mistake I personally ever saw him make.

Look at that casey - designed to absorb snow and mud

Sprain your ankle if you caught it wrong on the volley, head it at your own risk

Ipswich wore it a few years before we did.  BHA wore one with blue cuffs.

So terrible that he got hat-tricks against Man Utd and Roma.

He made his home debut against Brum in September 1957 and we won 5-3.

Ipswich won the league in 1961-2 in that kit.

As far as I can recall, they played in those colours in August 1938 when they entered the football league.
