Sounds like a cockroach, exterminator.

PS. God forbid anyone thinking that I meant he was a low life, feeding on freebies, whilst giving nothing back.

Pie in the sky stuff but imagine if Jos could get a tune out of Abdi. He’s making some headway with Matias and there must have been more to it between Carlos/Abdi than injuries alone.

[insert Abdi injury joke]

Sorry to stomp on your enthusiasm but he tripped on a crisp packet this morning and has hurt his toe, out for another 3 weeks.

From what Jos said (explaining that players are '200%' fit when they are picked) I can't help but feel that under CC, Abdi may have been rushed back into action too soon. Which in turn made his injury or injuries worse.

I genuinely feel sorry for the lad (regardless of his earnings) because Im absolutely certain he just wants first team football or he would have hung up his boots by now.

I've always felt abdi and Matias could do good things for us if they could get a run of games

Finally the formation we’re now playing is perfectly suited to him. We just need to get him on the pitch (easier said than done).

He set off writing a memoir of his injury struggles and fight to get fit since signing for us.  The pen broke.

In a 4-3-3 I would play him as a right or left sided central midfielder.

in a 4-2-3-1 any of the 3 attacking midfield positions, ideally central.

Or if we could get abdi, Jones and Westwood out on loan for the season with no loan fees it could save the club £3-4m in wages.

That just a tip of the wasted wages we current have not playing in the team. Think where the finances could be at the end of the season if we were able to get rid of the wasted wages in the team.

But we are possible the worse team in the league at squad management.

Lee, Hooper and Abdi all training fully with main #SWFC squad. Winnall a little bit behind, but progressing really well, says Jos Luhukay.
