Marco Matias, 10 months remaining. Daniel Pudil, 10 months remaining Morgan Fox, 10 months remaining. Kieran Westwood, 10 months remaining. ^May have helped us with regards to P&S. Possibly around 10 million per year wages between that lot. Can only see us trying to keep Bannan and perhaps Matias if he keeps healthy and continues his good form. There's some serious cash to be saved there.

And if he should decide its not worth carrying on he'll have potentially a greater insurance payout than salary ££££££££££££ Either way. I’ve had mates who have lost limbs in IED strikes and RTA’s and have gone onto be Paralympic champions or at least got back to an extremely high level of fitness. Bloke is simply weak. There is no way this is down to luck.

Holmowl
Jos has worked miracles with Lazarus (Sorry, I mean Matias) He got Nihiu firing, Joao firing, Matias playing and working hard. It would be another massive feather in his cap if he can get Almen fit, motivated and on that pitch. We are desperately thin in midfield. To add Lee and Abdi to the Matchday squad would be such an amazing boost. Edited August 27, 2018 by Holmowl

Yes in a perfect world what you say would be brilliant......but who can / would afford to pay their wages. Only option is for SWFC to pay part of their wages. It would still be a saving . Unfortunately it doesn't fit with DC's normal logic. Given that they aren’t fit yet nobody will take them on loan. If we could get some or all of Lee, Abdi, Hooper and Winnall back September/October, It revolutionises our squad. Get several games from each of them before Christmas and the World looks a completely different place. Massive competition for places AND the ability to sell a big player or two for a biggish fee. Shezza
Abdi is a write off. He’ll never do anything of quality for us. Ain’t got the legs or mentality for it anymore. Basically been out of the game for two years, and most players never recover from it. He certainly won’t. Got hopes for Lee and Hooper, though. Fingers crossed.

I actually broke my leg playing football on an icy playground with a crisp packet when I was 7. Therefore I believe your report to be theoretically possible.

bigash_swfc
The reason their all returning from injury is nothing to do with their contracts being up. It's because Jos Luhukay is 55 year old and probably fitter than half our team

After thinking about this I have to agree. 2 years he’s basically been out for, physically and mentally it’s gonna be a challenge, especially physically I can only recall maybe once (and I’d have to have a look) where a player has come back from similar circumstances
Utah Owl
The last two seasons, Hooper and Lee have missed a huge number of games but they will be just fine and Abdi won't? Some interesting logic there! League appearances over last two season: Abdi 16 Lee 36 Hooper
