Wearing another teams top.

Recommended Posts

Quick question I follow two teams Wednesday being first Weymouth being my second. Always wear my Sheffield Wednesday top with pride when on holiday you get some great banter with other fans meeting some Mansfield fans was interesting this year. Anyway do you ever wear another teams shirt ie Foreign/National(other than your national team) or non league shirt.

I don't wear footy shirts anymore, but when I did I had a few foreign ones as well as Wednesday and England shirts....

National

Couple of Italy ones

Retro Platini France one (would possibly still wear that)

International clubs

Ajax away

A.c. Milan away shirts

Inter Milan

Lazio

Couple of Sanpdoria away shirts

I buy foreign shirts for the littl'un.

Was going to get a Weymouth top but just doesn't feel right and the bloody things claret and blue everyone will think it's a Burnley/West Ham or Villa top. Must admit I like the look of some of the retro shirts National and International.

James O'connor and Mansfield is a rather good fit lol

Only other shirt i ever had, other than Wednesday and England, was the full Scotland kit for the 78 world cup. I was too young to have nationalistic prejudice even though i had watched their fans smash wembley up the season before.

Wouldn't buy any replica kit top nowadays.

Back when I did (  a longtime ago) only Wednesday and England.

Still buy Wednesday T shirt type tops from the club shop and bought an England one for Euro 16 which I went to.

Also have a Wednesday/ Rangers top.

Would buy a Wednesday/England one if I could get hold of one.

Other than those a definite No for me.
