His name is Atdhe...

Recommended Posts

I remember Stuart Gray calling him Hatty Nuhiu. :stuwinky:

I've never been one of his knockers.

He;s a handful, and it makes it easier for others to play around him.

But until recently scoring goals has not been his forte, which is rum for a striker.

He's largely got through his Wednesday career employed getting the crowd going.

He might not like being called Dave, but equally those behind the goal on the kop don't like him missing an open net from two feet.

We've all got to give and take, and that includes him.

Still people on here call him Dave.  Still people at the match, who want to encourage him even,  call him Dave.

I think it is hugely disrespectful.

Atdhe isn't difficult to say.  'At dee' or 'Atti' seem acceptable.

Get your act together chaps and ladies please.

BTW I have been a fierce critic of his in the past but TBF I can't fault his effort and under Jos his very positive contribution to the team. Let's show our support and respect.

It's not banter if he finds it offensive.

I agree, I’ve always called him ‘lump’

I've been told by a pretty reliable source that Atdhe is an old fashioned Kosovan name and is actually pronounced 'Adlay'.

Maybe everyone's being disrespectful?
