Stick a bloody great EE mast or 2 on top of each stand. Don't EE pay for aerials. It costs the mobile industry £270 million a year to "rent/lease" mast/aeriel sites. If you go into mobile data connections and set 3g only you'll get a 3g range to yourself and it works fine. Works in most crowded spaces Except the speed 3G works at you may as well keep it on 4G anyway

You could download the JSON or XML feed for a live scores update in a fraction of a second. It's 3 times the recommended speed for streaming live video. I think you'll be alright for checking the football scores at half time with it

Leaping Lannys Perm
I've recently switched to Lebara on the Vodafone system. For some reason I never get 4G but always have a very good H+ connection. Since then I have found using mobile data on the Loo really easy. Pretty fast and reliable.
