Mobile Data / WiFi in the ground

Recommended Posts

Does anyone get a good data connection at home matches? Also, is there WiFi available?

The reason I ask is that I see quite a few people using their phones in the ground but mine is, more or less, redundant because i can’t establish a effective enough data connection. I'm on EE.

Everyone is on 4g and fighting for signal. If you go into mobile data connections and set 3g only you'll get a 3g range to yourself and it works fine.

Works in most crowded spaces

Couldn't get a signal today to check bets.Skybet acca. 55-1. Reading equalised on 90+3 mins. Can't check for cash out because it's so slow. Grrrrr.

Never got anything from EE. Hopefully everyone will try this 3G trick and I won’t have to do anything.

:Chansiri:This sounds like an opportunity for DC to earn some extra income.

Stick a bloody great EE mast or 2 on top of each stand.

Don't EE pay for aerials.

I'm surprised that nobody knows that those tall masts with long vertical boxes mounted near the top at football grounds are designed to delay tinternet signals so that people don't lay instant bets off or check out the bet early....
