shandypants
Does anyone get a good data connection at home matches? Also, is there WiFi available? The reason I ask is that I see quite a few people using their phones in the ground but mine is, more or less, redundant because i can’t establish a effective enough data connection. I'm on EE. bigsheff
Same problem. I'm sat in grandstand. Mate sat next to me has no problem at all with his though, not sure what provider he uses. Edited August 25, 2018 by bigsheff
Sultan_Pepper
Everyone is on 4g and fighting for signal. If you go into mobile data connections and set 3g only you'll get a 3g range to yourself and it works fine. Works in most crowded spaces 1

But to be fair on EE you can't get signal in the countryside, small towns, large towns and city centres 2

bradowl
Mobile phones should be left in a bin to be picked up after final whistle, you go to watch game not faff about with your bloody phones.

owls-swfc
I'm surprised that nobody knows that those tall masts with long vertical boxes mounted near the top at football grounds are designed to delay tinternet signals so that people don't lay instant bets off or check out the bet early....
