It wasn’t.

Watch it again.

It was pal.

The goalscorer wasn't off.

But the guy who was interfered with play, as he stopped one of our players (may have been Lees) from reaching their goalscorer, and potentially putting him off his header.

He influenced that play, therefore it is offside.

No chance. Was an excellent decision.

Nope watch it again.

He also makes a move to the ball, which Dawson tries to cover by coming out of his goal. This leaves him out of position when the scorer heads it in.

He interfered, and he was offside.

Terrible decision.

The man who scored it wasn’t but could you truly say the player clearly standing in an offside position wasn’t interfering with play. They were side by side at the moment the goal was scored.

All down to interpretation of the rule, and that ref made some strange decisions throughout the game.

Perhaps he decided to even things up with the red card.
