Dawson  6. One good save

Palmer 6 For the save off the line. Otherwise awful.

Lees 7

Thorniley 7

Penney 7

Pelupessy 4 He’s so bad. How is he playing over Hutch??

Bannan 7

Reach 6

Matias 5 worked hard but not Nando

Joao 7 Two good finishes

Nuhiu 3 Beyond awful. Stop playing the man

FF 7 wouldn’t have won without him

Fletcher 6

Thought we were poor but over the moon with the 3 points!

Thorniley for me

Good again Hoots. Growing with every game.

Could have had a couple of goals too.

Penney for me today though.

Stopped so many crosses. Especially first half.

Even Pudil in 'Year one' wasn't doing that enough for my tastes.

I know it's the rage these days to judge fullbacks on their crossing and pace.

I'm old fashioned. Stopping crosses. always an extra +1 on my match ratings!

Either Thorniley or Penny could have won it. It’s brilliant that the club are now producing good young talent, dare I say it, is it down to Dave Jones role is starting a development squad?

I thought Penny was awesome, for a kid making his second appearance he was so assured, I’d like to see more from him going forward, and I’m sure in the future we will, he’s got it in his locker, a couple of years ago he was a forward, I’ve seen him score some cracking goals.

As for Thorniley, he’s just getting better and better, I can see him scoring very soon.

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

Nuhiu was very poor in the first half, but he picked up in the second and was better.

Amazed he saw out the game though. JL really should've made the changes much sooner.

Torn between Thorniley and Penney for MOTM, but went with Thorniley. He really outshone Lees today.

Penney's defensive game looks fairly good, which has surprised me. Blocked so many crosses coming in. I think there's a lot more to come from him because he looks decent going forward too. He's our left back now, as far as I'm concerned.

Do you really think so?

I thought he was really busy today. Was having to do lots of tracking , marking and dirty work whilst not being directly involved.

Especially with Joao, Matias and Reach roaming all over the show.

Nuhiu very poor today! Struggles to hold poor up and very poor and brining others into play!

Reach, shocking does nothing, lazy, no end product, bottler, never takes responsibility just runs around pointing at players trying to pass them onto another Player!

Penney and Throniley did well.

Matias and Palmer worked hard.

Foriesteri and Fletcher have to start everygame!

Dawson 6 - few good saves, one dropped catch

Palmer 7- Saved a clear goal

Lees 6 - not much wrong

Thorniley 7 - solid.

Penney 7 - adapting well to the lb role. Would like more attacking still though

Bannan 6 - busy as usual but didnt control it like weds

Pelupessy 6 - busy

Reach 4 - anonymous throughout

Matias 6 - works hard which i give him credit for but still doesnt do much

Joao 7 - 2 goals and still only a 7 probs tells you alot about his performance. Didnt do much, his first touch is shocking and seems to play in slow mo alot of the time. HOWEVER i'll be more than happy if he plays like that and scores 2 every week

Nuhui 4 - if joao plays in slow mo, i dont know what nuhiu plays in. Just didnt happen today, shouldve gone off at half time/60 mins. Thought he was gonna get himself sent off at some point

Got laughed at on here a while back for saying he is all about off the ball not on it.

Dawson  6. One good save

Palmer 6.  Goalline block.

Lees 6.

Thorniley 7.  Looked the more assured centre back.

Penney 7. For only his second game he did very well.

Pelupessy 6. Lots of donkey work.

Bannan 7.  We need to get his contract extended as soon as possible.

Reach 6. One of his more quiet games, still afraid to tackle.

Matias 6. Worked hard, ball didn’t bounce for him when he was through.

Joao 7. Two good finishes

Nuhiu 6. Not the Atdhe of last season. Didn’t do much.

Forestieri 7. Always looking to go forwards, draws so many players to him he created space.

Fletcher 6. Too short a cameo to really rate.

Largely average scores, for a largely average performance. We’ll need to play better than that if we want to get anywhere this season, but it’s a win nonetheless, so plenty to be pleased about this evening.
