Beholder Posted August 22, 2018 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Dawson- 7 Excellent keeper. Palmer- 8 saved the game at the end with the block. Excellent all round performance from Liam. He is the best RB at the club - no contest. Lees- 7 Good goal and strong. Thornily- 7 Excellent blocks. Best position at CH. Penney- 8- What a brilliant debut. Great going forward, ghosting past players. Some great tackles at the back. Pelupessy-7 Good tonight. can't criticise that performance Bannan- 8 Usual- topped off with a goal Reach- 8 Worked his socks off closing down and set up the first goal really well Preston- 7 Got stuck in- didn't look out of place- good team performance Matias- 8 Best I've seen him play. Lees 7 - Solid defensively, took his goal well. Thorniley 7 - Looked assured. Penney 8 - Awesome debut. Pelupessy 7 - Full of energy, great tackles. Bannan 9 - Never stopped running, behind everything & a superb goal. Reach 7 - Plenty of running, got stronger as the game went on. Preston 6 - Worked hard, great potential, maybe not quite ready yet. Fletcher 8 - Fantastic work rate, linked well with Matias. Matias 8 - His best game in a Wednesday shirt, great work rate. Jos 8 - Showed that he can send a team out with motivation, energy & tenacity. Every player seemed to have an extra yard of pace, boundless energy & a willingness to work for each other.
