Dean Smith isn’t the answer

Wednesday need a big personality  as manager to be successful. Someone who the players believe in and the fans can get behind

Im not doubting that JL is a good manager, his record in Germany is decent. It’s unfortunate that he’s been thrown into a league he knows nothing about, with a group of players he knows nothing about, and he’s expected to do the job with both hands tied behind his back

Mick McCarthy is the ideal man for us for the next 2 or 3 years imo

we need him now bud

Sh*t or no sh*t...jos simply isn’t the man for the job!!

people can defend him and throw excuses at him but he just isn’t good enough. His tactics are poor, his management throughout the games is poor...imagine been a player and looking at the bench for inspiration and you see jos with his muckfilm tash!!

You lost all credibility for what you wrote, with the last 5 words.

No need to get personal.

Until DC can admit to himself he is making a complete clusterfuck of things nothing will change.

Only way anything will happen is if the fans stop bailing DC out with mistake after mistake. We are only going one way with this bloke in charge,  down and out.

He has taken a club in the cusp of the big time into a team £50m in debt with a squad full of journey men and kids making fans pay £40 to watch dross week in week out.

OK, you've convinced me, we stop bailing out DC, now what?

Don’t know if he was ever considered for the Job before Jos but he is exactly the type of manager we now need. Championship experience, brilliant results on a small budget, sells players for healthy profits and replaces them easily. All the attributes we should be looking for.

Has an attachment to the club, albeit not a great one but his managerial record really does speak for itself.

For me JL is coming up as a bit of a fraud on a big salary

We don't do up and coming brutish managers . We just hire carbon copy forgein managers who have been out of work for years .

No chance.

He's British and knows this league inside out.

As far as Captain Chaos is concerned, that immediately precludes his being considered for the post.

Why on earth would Chansiri appoint a manager who actually knows something about the Championship, pray?

I wouldn't entrust Chansiri with the task of going and buying the dog an ice cream.

The one thing i would say on this is Brentford as a club have a system that runs right from the owners dowm through the club.

A manager for them is replacable as are players and are only signed if its correct. It requires patience and forgiving fan base which in my experience is we would struggle as some still see us as something we are not. It is a totally different set up to what we have at wednesday so we could possibly bring smith in but im not sure he would have the desired affect.

Sorting the culture of the club out and deciding what our identity for lack of a better word should be our priority for the foreseable future. As convincing the likes of Bannan and FF that this is our plan and this is the style we want would go a long way to securing them. No mattwr what they have said players arent going to just tread water because they have got some mates at the club. Now the embargo seems to be going in the right direction this should be the next port of call for DC IMO and that doesnt just come by changing head coaches all the time.

Easy to have a forgiving fan base when there’s only 10 if you lol

Hard to see why Jos is struggling what with players being frozen out and then moving on for nothing, having the club embargoed for an entire transfer window, the chairman announcing to fans we've been placed under embargo by the league, meaning that all the big ambitious players will have one eye on the door out of here, and the latest rumblings about Forestieri going tomorrow.

Add to that Adam Reach getting injured in prematch warmup and then the fans favourite Hutchinson running onto the pitch, bringing down a player, giving away a penalty, and then going off at half time.

It's a mystery innit

At a time when the players were crying out for direction and instructions on where they should be playing and what was expected of them, Jos remained quiet, head down and slumped off back to the dugout.

At the very least, the players HE chooses should know their role.
