Promotion !!!...don’t even mention it ....relegation struggle all season...but like you’ve told me before...British managers aren’t any better are they ??

From the limited analysis done on here and using the quoted sources, it appears that on a pro rata basis, overseas managers have outperformed domestic ones. Whether you want to cry about that or not is totally up to you.

I just like to think my thought processes are a bit deeper than the perfunctory and predictable cliches we get on here just about every year.

Mick McCarthy

David moyes

Roy keane

these are the type of manager I would want at the club now. Someone who tries to motivate from the side lines, or give instructions. Not just sit on his hands and look bored. Oh and they have promotions in English football on their CV’s too.

He said himself he needed more money to succeed at Ipswich. It'll be the exact same situation with us.

Maybe, just maybe, it might actually be our players and not the manager.

Just a thought...

They finished mid-table last season on a shoestring. What Mick was saying was that the team needed investment if they wanted to be challenging for the top 6 as they did in his first few seasons there.

Spot on.

Ipswich have been awful to watch in recent years, but they are ALWAYS competitive at the very least in this league.

Even with no money, McCarthy knows what's required in this league. There's nothing to suggest Jos does.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'd sack Jos and get big Mick in asap if I were Chansiri. A week or so to get a couple in and make us at least competitive.

I’d absolute love Keane to come and shake up the place, sadly it’s the complete opposite person to what Chansiri wants in a manager

We should have appointed Megson when we had the chance to. Dingle Mick can do one.

Chansiri says he does what the fans want, well we want Mick McCarthy.

Someone who knows what the feck he is doing.

Get it done.

Excuse me?

Who are you speaking for?

It would never happen but I'd love to hear the job interview if Chansiri called on McCarthy especially the last bit just before the big man politely informed DC what he could do with the post.

Dingle Mick may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but with this squad of players, he would ensure we stay up.

Based on the first 4 games I’m not convinced Jos is able to do that.
