GY-owl.4
looks like he had a party after the game! off topic but this album is something you have to listen to before you die.
hirstys_achilles
When bannan went off they was next to each other and neilson looked huge. Deffo one for future. JL looks right man to bring out the best from our youth set up. Great to see the youngsters being slowly built up and getting experience for hopefully long and successful careers with swfc
McRightSide
Looks like a dud at this level. Might carve out a half decent career at League 2 level due to his size. Thought Kirby was the most impressive of the young ones.

Beauchief Owl
Mad Mick's views clear, we'd better hope Tom Lees does not get injured. He implied VA and Nielsen not good enough at Championship level and, at present, it's hard to disagree. VA was, however, having a better game before the injury caused by a tackle that could easily have been red-carded.
IstillhateSteveBould
Can't believe people are actually writing him off already He's raw, but he's young and has huge potential. Needs game time. A loan move would be beneficial.
LiamAP22D
Nice to hear he did alright. Looks a presence and that is what we've been lacking at center half.

Guest
Thought he looked tidy and will only get better with game time and with experienced heads around him I imagine Brigitte will be delighted this morning, I heard she was very proud last night at Freddie making his debut. Not very quick, not great on the ball. I said the same about Harry Maguire 4 years ago...
torryowl
why is that if a player is well over 6 foot that fans say they are great in the air ?...…..Barnsley had Nielsen on trial and didn't take him as they said he wasn't good enough in the air . vulture_squadron
I thought Neilsen did ok. didn't look the most confident but he's only played 2 or 3 games at first team level so that's natur I guess. As for people comparing him to Rooney at 16 - come on! Rooney was a world class player and fully physically developed at a young age. Anyway, it's one game, in the cup, with lots of changes to the line up. Hopefully the youngsters will be able to come in now and then, surrounded by experienced players, and develop over time. owlmanc
I’m sure at 20 there is scope to learn and develop if he has the right teachers...lees apart he’s hardly surrounded by people that would inspire confidence in you.
Spookone
Wasn't sure my self but he is only 19 and needs experience - hopefully he can only get better.
nbupperthongowl
Needs to go on loan to a L1 team to toughen up and get game time. He's bound to be nervous playing every few weeks for us in front of the expectant crowd

Yes but mick was talking about two centre backs who are back up for Hutchinson and Pudil. They like Thornilly are young and have time to develop. Patience needed, let’s just lay off this not good enough stuff.
