metaframe
Another clean sheet. For me I can’t really understand why he isn’t playing in the league. 1

Didn’t have anything to do really . Having said that , no idea why he is now the favourite to slag off . For me always has been the better of the two (him and Dawson) not that it’s relevant
BigOwl
Didn’t have to make a save (except where he had been fouled and punched the ball out before he was bundled into the net)

woodys
Like joe but for me Dawson looked better when he had his chances last season
Salmonbones
I prefer Wildsmith but I have no argument with Jos choosing Dawson right now.
bigsheff
Hard to say which one is better than the other at the minute... Dawson hasn't made the sort of mistakes which Wildsmith did last year probably gives him the shirt at present
Inspector Lestrade
Westwood is sticking pins into his effigy even as we chat
Guest
Dawson is slightly better in my opinion, both good keepers though
metaframe
I suppose, but it does seem odd. Mind you having two number 1s vying for the spot is no bad thing.

Blue and white
There is only one no 1 and that is Westwood. As for Wildsmith and Dawson, one should be back up the other out on a season long loan.

Competent display but to be fair my daughter could have kept a clean sheet for us tonight, did he have a save to make? Glad the defence improved after a very nervy start, happy enough with that tonight, we have lost to far less in this competition in the not too distant past. Up and running and a good mix of youth and experience from Jos to get the job done. With Westwood not included though we've got to get him out this month, no point in having one of the highest paid keepers in the division as 3rd choice. Swiss Toni
For me there's not much difference between Dawson and Wildsmith. Both can be prone to a lapse but because of their age and lack of experience that's to be expected. Shot-stopping there's not much between them and for me the biggest compliment of who's best would be from their defence and whoever commands them the best. N0rtherner
Jos outlined he looked at pre-season results when deciding whether Dawson or Wildsmith would be 1st; Dawson came out better somehow and Jos seemingly forgot how well Wildsmith rose to the occasion to keep the goals out during last season... ;)
Jon Newsome
Both good young keepers, but I give Dawson the edge. Looks more assured, better handling, commands his area better, and hasn't dropped any b0llocks yet like Joe. Good options to have, just hope we can get some money for a Westwood loan. striker
Thought he did well, looked comfortable on the ball and never really tested. Good assured performance to put pressure on Dawson.
