It’s futile arguing for player recruitment or a change of manager.

I've heard we have 3 pretty substantial signings within the next month or two who will improve our team and squad no end.

Hooper, Lee and Winnall.

If we are lucky enough to keep these and others fit then we will do better than the doom mongers are predicting.

With the players we have, if they stay fit, we could push for a top 6 place.  On another day Fletch would have scored all 3 yesterday.  Ash Baker looks a good fit at RWB and Hutch did well at the back. I thought Reach was MOM playing a more free role like he did last year. It’s early days yet.

The transfer embargo has gelded us all.

We can’t recruit anyone for the first team be that player or manager or coach - maybe with the exception of a “one out / one in” for specialist coaches such as goalkeeper coaches i.e. Weever.

It's going to be long ,hard season..

The vet turns up to geld the stallion foal.  To the farmers concern he takes two house bricks out of his bag.  'What are they for', asks the farmer.  The vet explains 'You hold one brick either side and bring them together sharply.  It crushes the appropriate parts and the horse is gelded.' Gosh says the farmer, ' Does it hurt?'. 'Only if you trap your thumbs,' says the vet.

It’s futile defending the club, all that matters now is pretending to be a blade and going on their websites, calling phone-ins etc and spreading misery. After all, what goes around comes around

While I don't think Top 6 is realistic, It's good to see a bit of  sensible objectivity after yesterdays meltdown. Jos has to shuffle to pack again and it's going to take a bit of time for the cards to fall in place. If we just can be a bit more realistic about our expectations this season then there are positives to be taken from yesterdays game.

Yep, two more strikers to add to the five already available.

Don’t see that as the main area of concern.

Now if we could get Kieran Lee firing on all cylinders the strikers would benefit from his midfield workrate.

I remember the same comments driving down the M1 in 91. Jos pulled a disorganised rabble into promotion winning form at the end of last season with less than we have now. And let’s not underestimate the impact of Hooper.  We’ll see mate, let’s have the debate 15 games in.

Have I? I thought I was drawing peoples' attention to what is happening and how it is adversely effecting the massive because the way I see it, your average football fan is far too gullible
