Jos just said he will support the other two who play in first team or cup.

Jos saying that Westwood will only get a game in the event of Dawson and Wildsmith being injured etc and is now third choice

Says that the two young keepers have excelled in his time here, and deserve their chance, and that they are the future of goalkeeping at Sheffield Wednesday and that's why the decision has been made

So he's been told he can't play him then.

Yes surely this is decision from the top... which is odd. If you have good players at hand you need to play them, both to perform and get results, but also to demonstrate these if you're looking to offload them.

His agent must be busy these next few weeks

Be very shocked if he's still here after August. Loaned out ala Rhodes

The fact he was selected behind Dawson and Wildsmith should tell you he was third chiice

It's blatantly obvious that he either already has a move agreed or nobody will match his wages so we are trying to force him out.

There's no other reason not to play your best players..

If jos prefers Dawson n Wildsmith to Westwood he is bonkers and if he's been told by dc he can't play him then why? Surely if need to offload high earners he should be put in shop window.

Jos the yes man eh.

Last year folks  bemoaned not playing young players  at the expense of more experienced players.

Now we're bemoaning picking young players over more experienced players.

*Who'd be a manager

*I'll save some folks typing the standard reply to the rhetorical question.

. "I'd be one paid huge money for doing nowt. etc etc etc"

I must be mad, because I agree with this! If we’re not getting promoted and I don’t think we will with or without Westwood, then why waste a year of development for a player who certainly wont be with us next term?

One what I saw 18 months ago he would be my number one.

But I haven't seen Westwood play for 9 months.

No idea how good he's looking.

If he is as good as some folk think why has nobody come in for him?

Heis not the player he was 3 seasons ago he was poor last season and apparently has not impressed since his return.

I don't agree with this decision. We may find ourselves in a relegation battle Westwood is capable of getting us valuable points are the other two?
