Palmer wasn't actually that bad Saturday, he's in the alwaysshit no matter how he plays club with Van Aken.

 

The thing that's causing us the biggest problems is the formation, none of the back 5 looked comfortable on Saturday.

It's usually the system and the team dynamic. 

 

If you get that right, and the players have got a specific remit it often works out. 

 

For example Palmer has played countless games at RB and got countless clean sheets with very decent displays. 

 

That said, I think losing Venancio has had a massive impact. 

 

Even though he was liked I don't think many realise quite how important he was to us last season.

Just seen Saturday’s highlights. He gets himself into some good positions in the attacking third but unfortunately he hasn’t got a clue on what to do once he gets there. I just think we’re wasting our time persevering with him as a full-back/wing-back?

He's nowhere near good enough for this level. It's been evident for a long time.

There was worst performers than Palmer on Saturday, midfield including Bannan was poor, especially during first half, Reach tackles like a woman. 

 

I know he scored but I don't think Nuhiu had a good game, I would have brought Fletcher on straight away when he got booked.
