Maybe we wouldn’t have conceded 3 goals today with him in the net, his quality, experience and leadership are massively missed. The fact we are being forced to sell him because of sodding FFP is the most annoying thing. Even if we do sell him we need a new experienced keeper imo, doubt we will be able to bring one in though. I'd love him to be here to stay but clearly he's on his way out - I just don't see the point in playing him knowing that he's on the verge of leaving when we have 2 other keepers who need to play as much as possible. Let alone the possibility he gets injured and thus won't then get sold. It's such a rubbish situation for the club at the moment with our woefully wasteful recruitment and business planning coming to really hit home - but i completely get the club's decision in these circumstances regarding Westwood.
