Ever the pessimist
Not going to read it, but from the reference to elland road above that can’t be much higher than Hillsborough... both old but historic with need of aesthetic improvement.

RUMBELOWS91
I can sort of stomach Bramall Lane and Elland Road being up there, because at least they're proper football stadiums, so if that's the criteria then fair enough- But Pride f'ing Park?! Mr. Chow
Elland road is possibly one of the worst grounds I’ve been to.

Slate Reading, Hull, Swansea and Bolton for having carbon copy new build bland stadiums and then claim Pride Park is a good stadium. They're all the same ruddy stadium, just coloured in different and in a slightly different car park outside a slightly different town.

steveger
Only one i massively disagree with is BDTBL, what a joke, obviously the world famous all conquering Leeds United's Elland Road was always gunna be top with the medias love in with the mighty Leeds. We should be slightly higher IMO, but it's Talksport FFS.. they are to be taken as serious as Sheffield's clown jester/pirate lookalike Lord Mayor. Popular Post DJMortimer
Quote 3. Bramall Lane – Sheffield United The ‘home of football’ is named after the Bramall family, who were file and graver manufacturers in the 19th century. Home to the Blades since 1889, it is the oldest major stadium in the world to still be hosting professional association football matches. It is one of only two grounds to have hosted England internationals, an England cricket test match and an FA Cup final – the other is the Oval cricket ground. Regularly filled with almost 33,000 fans, it is a special ground which is always singing, win or lose.
SiJ
Just now, DJMortimer said: I know. Where did they get that pearler from? The United PR spokesperson? It always makes me laugh when the mainstream media outlets - who have zero interest in lower league football - try and write or understand it. Utterly clueless.
