Sultan_Pepper
You've got our in out and Birmingham's transfers have been cancelled by the football league and they are under an embargo now, other than that it's clear a lot of teams are not doing a lot of transfering in this season so far

FFP = BS They sold Assombalonga for £15M last season, Oliver Burke for £13M the season before. Add in Lansbury and Antonio for a combined £8-9M aswell. They've been turning a profit on transfers for 3 years. They are well prepared for a big spend now.
striker
For all they've spent Forest don't worry me, Stoke and Boro are the stand outs. Money to spend and decent managers at this level.

Beighton Owl 87
Forest are really going for it this year and have a manager who knows what's required to get out of this league. I didn't realise just how many assets they have sold in recent years just a shame we don't have many players that can be sold on for those fees. I'm not concerned about Swansea, still think they have sales to come before the season starts as you say and Villa are in a mess, Bruce only knows how to manage with a cheque book so don't see that ending well. For all they may have money to spend and i do like their manager, i think inexperience will be an issue for West Brom this next season, likewise Swansea's manager may take some time to adjust to a very competitive and complex league. Agree to a point, but his football is dire and in in my opinion bought that promotion, the league is much more competitive now. I think they will be in the play offs but don't see them emulating Wolves.

If Mandaric ends up at Villa, I can't see the relationship with Bruce being particularly harmonious. Mandaric might bring Stuey in. Bluesteel
Makes villa and some of the others look healthy. But it’s the wage budgets that kill teams
Beholder
This season is the final fling at promotion for this bunch of players. Look at it as the season we should have had last season. We still have competitive quality and are arguably up there with the top 5 teams of the league on paper. And they all know each other and have a point to prove. Im pretty confident will be up there competing in the top 6 now we have a fit squad and a decent manager. 1
