He'd do well at United because he's a bit of a scrubber.

Limited footballer but will get you goals; he's Luke Varney with a more punchable face...

That lot wanting WInnall????

Given their 'think Liverpool' investments,  they can have Winnall for 10 million

Of course for any other club (excluding Leeds), Wednesday could potentially sell for less. But not to that lot!

Would take 2m+ as frees up c.800k/yr wages too, need to wheel and deal and get some prem loans in.

Might get double figures for them if match fit b4 november, but no better than we have and we've too many strikers including fletcher who we'll never shift and not enough pacy forwards.

Why care its them, just keep ff away from him in the derby :carlos:

Precisely.

If Madine is worth £6 million Winnall is worth £12 million, add on a 25% surcharge for them being a set of scrubby piggybastards and he's theirs for £15 million.

It's rubbish anyway because who's doing the asking? McSue or Prince Bog Roll. Those two-hats can't even agree who owns that cess-pit of a club.

Post of the Year^^^^:tango:

What I have heard about him is everywhere he goes he asset strips the team , invests nothing and in a genuine leach on clubs.

United are our rivals but people like this bloke should not be allowed anywhere near football clubs.

Yes the other guy has been making a fair few pennies selling of the silver over the last few years but they always seem to have finances for players when needed.

Disagree. He should not be allowed near any other football clubs, just united.

Wouldn't surprise me at all that this is a Wilder wind-up. Make an enquiry - leak it to the press - then that's the last you'll hear of it.

Why would any serious club make an enquiry about a player who is recovering from a serious injury and not likely to be available for selection until November. Doesn't make any sense, even for the porkies.

People say that, but Sam may be far enough on the road to recovery to make a deal possible. Typical recovery is 6-9 months for ACL rupture - unless there are further complications. He's already 5 months along, and posting pictures of himself running and training to strengthen the knee.

Perhaps an interested party may think he's rehabbed sufficiently to check the progress on his knee and make a judgement call? They might also beat competition for his signature. Come January, half the championship will be scratching around for a goalscorer. Half a dozen clubs may come knocking for him then when he's fully fit.
