Aye, "Maguire & Walker Stand" would be too cringeworthy to even contemplate.

np pontefract
I think you mean, can Yorkshire win the world cup. Well I went to see them play an international at Fitzwilliam , last season, but I don't think they are quite up to world cup standard, just yet. They'll probably throw in Ardiles, Villa, Klinsmann and maybe Peters and claim three or four World Cups.

Big Jack
The pigs always bang about having the oldest stadium, they conveniently dont mention that we played their first. McCabe already requesting The Fa give them automatic promotion for winning the world cup and rightly so, they invented the game dont you know. @owlstalk
I've no issues whatsoever with the blades producing Maguire and any other player that wins us the world cup Let em have that one because they did do that. Bramal Lane will celebrate 45 years of being the sole stadium of Sheffield United on 7th August 2018. Before 7th August 1973 it was a cricket pitch. simster
This sort of conversation is happening all over the country. I'm in London and the Spurs fans are already becoming quite insufferable, with their "Spurs are going to win it for England" stuff. And with us Brighton fans, Gareth Southgate has gone from Palace w*nker to Sussex legend (he's from Crawley, in Sussex, half-way between South London and Brighton). Ultimately none of us will give a tuppenny throw if it means we go on and win the thing! Surely? Edited July 11, 2018 by simster
