Some of you lot thought Tom Lees was better than Harry Maguire :duntmatter:

Yeah quite a few. Good player Tom but Harry is a colossus.

Still looks a cart horse

That's a weird thing to say about a player who's just announced himself on the world stage and played a vital role in guiding England to a World Cup semi-final for the first time in a generation. He was brilliant in both boxes today and looked very assured on the ball, as well as putting in a dominant centre back performance. He looks like being our most important defender at this moment in time.

Then why was he flying the blades flag after the Columbia game?

Ex United player. Him and family always been Wednesdayites. Same flag at match today. He's a decent bloke  and given what they did for his career it's no surprise he'd do that. Maybe knew the fans personally for all I know.

Wednesday fan / United fan, whatever - he's been one of the players of the tournament and will be off to Madrid soon enough.

He's done us all proud so far.

When he was at United I thought he just looked like a big unit who was fairly clumsy on the ball, all about power. Probably wasn’t that unfair at the time but in the last couple of years at Leicester his comfortable approach on the ball has put him in a different class to most. If you put his progress and improvement on a chart it must’ve spiked the last couple of years.

Great to have so many Sheffield lads in the squad.
