Jordan Rhodes move from #SWFC to Norwich is OFF

Recommended Posts

In case you missed it yesterday

Owls striker Jordan Rhodes' proposed loan switch to fellow Championship club Norwich City has fallen through.

Rhodes looked set to travel to Carrow Road to complete a season long-loan move. However, The Star understands the deal was called off at the eleventh hour after talks broke down between Wednesday and Norwich.

The two clubs could not reach an agreement on Rhodes' financial package and it remains to be seen whether the transfer can be resurrected.

Good!

Norwich have money to spend and clearly thought they were in the driving seat

Seemed like we were prepared to negotiate too, but (quote) ...

If they're interested, they'll be back

If not ... pftt

probably not a popular view but I still believe if a proper manager gets his confidence back he will score plenty of goals

Totally agree.

Carlos tried to change how he plays, previous club only brought him in to stop others having him.

Are we not currently a financial basket case though?
